Service advisor: Dominick Bartnik Technician: Nadia Alvarez Cabrera I purchased this vehicle from Courtesy Chevrolet. The day after taking it home I experienced several electrical issues. I attempted to take the vehicle to Courtesy Chevrolet Service three days later and was told they would not even look at the vehicle for 5 to 7 days and I would need to secure a rental car. This was poor service for a vehicle I just purchased for 40k. I refused to wait and took the vehicle to the closest dealership to me which was Sands Chevrolet in Surprise. I took the vehicle in twice just to be told the technician could not duplicate the electrical issues I described, and the vehicle was showing no error codes. Sands refused to do anything further to assess the issues with my newly purchased, still under warranty vehicle. I was told to take it back to Courtesy Chevrolet or get a second opinion if I was still having issues. Not two miles off the lot I experienced the same issues immediately. I then contacted Gateway Chevrolet which is a dealership I have dealt with over the years and have purchased several vehicles from. If they would have had the vehicle I was looking for, they are always my first choice. My assigned service representative at Gateway Chevrolet was Dominick Bartnik. I was extremely frustrated with the previous two dealerships and explained all the issues I was having to Dominck. Dominick was very attentive and assured me that Gateway Chevrolet would not pass the buck and perform the necessary inspections and tests to find the problem with my vehicle. Dominick kept me informed throughout the process and immediately notified me when several communication codes were found on my vehicle. This explained all the electrical issues that I was told by Sands Chevrolet did not exist. The vehicle was assigned to Technician Nadia Cabrera. Nadia was very patient and professional through this process and identified all the areas that needed attention. Dominick informed me of all that needed to be done and kept me informed throughout the experience. My vehicle was repaired and so far, I have no other issues. Gateway Chevrolet took care of my vehicle even though it was not purchased from them and restored my faith in the Chevrolet brand. Dominick and Nadia showed care, concern, and professionalism in dealing with this matter. I believe they both went above and beyond to make sure I was taken care of and made me feel like a valued customer. Gateway Chevrolet will always be my number one dealer thanks to the hard-working staff from sales to service.
